To operate the platform: show animal life stories, coordinate help between people and organizations, keep the network trustworthy, and communicate with you (for example, password resets).
3. What we share
We do not sell your data. Public animal life stories and public profiles are visible by design. We use service providers (for hosting and email delivery) that process data on our behalf under their terms.
4. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to run the platform. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Security
We use encrypted transport, restricted access, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of significant incidents as required.
